Lego Hobbit on PC only £1.99

Fancy reliving the Hobbit movies in Lego form and pandering to your obsessive nature over in-game collectibles? Then be sure to pick up Lego The Hobbit on your PC for just £1.99.

The latest Lego effort is one of the more rushed efforts from the overworked Traveller's Tales studio, but it's much more appealing at this price. It's certainly worth a look if you're a series fan. The third film was supposed to be added as DLC when the final film hit cinemas, but has since been cancelled. There's still at least 30 hours of game here if you want to 100% it.

The Evil Within only £2.99 (PC) and £9.99 (PS4/XO)

Need a bit of traditional survival horror in your life? PC gamers can now pick up The Evil Within from just £2.99. PS4 and Xbox One owners can get a copy delivered for £9.99 marking the lowest prices we've seen across all three formats. To make things even sweeter, this is for the Limited Edition of the game.

The Evil Within is a return to traditional survival horror values with an unforgiving difficulty curve and a serious lack of ammo. Sounds harsh? That's the way the Resident Evil games used to be yanno (before all the zombies got motorbikes and machine guns). If Dark Souls was your introduction to tough gaming, you'll get a kick (and maybe a chainsaw to the face) from The Evil Within, be sure to check out the HD remake of the original Resident Evil too.

Get South Park: The Stick of Truth on PC for just £3.75

This is one of the lowest prices we've seen for this one, although it is worth pointing out that this is for a physical copy that is redeemable via Steam. As we point out in our review, Obsidian Entertainment have managed to create an enjoyable and authentic South Park experience thanks to the involvement of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. With a combat system that is surprisingly deeper than it appears, it would seem that The Stick Of Truth has ended up being worth the wait - despite the hilarious censorship issues. Cheers to Buzz for the heads-up!

Get Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360 / PS3 for just £1.99

Still not ready to jump into the current gen, but want some FPS action to tide you over? There's not much arguing with the value of this one at this price, really, even if the multiplayer servers aren't as populated as they used to be. Still, the campaign is a good distraction for a few hours, and certainly a challenge on higher difficulty settings. Plus, with Click & Collect being possible with this deal, it means you could make it a cheerful stocking filler if need be. Cheers to Buzz for the heads-up!

Get Just Cause 3 on PC for just £17.95

There's a saving of over a tenner on this listing, and it's made even better by using the voucher code above. In some regards, Just Cause 3 delivered more of the same, but when that more of the same is ridiculous carnage over a tropical island, that's no necessarily a bad thing. Unlimited C4 and the new addition of the wingsuit give the action new life, so as long as you can get over the load times you'll have a blast with this one. Cheers to Buzz for the heads-up!

Grim Fandango Remastered on PC falls to £2.19

With the latest Steam sale knocking a massive 80% off the asking price, it means you can relive one of the genre's greatest titles for just over £2. Sure, its mechanics are somewhat dated, and some of its puzzles suffer from "developer logic", but its imaginative story, vibrant world, and unforgettable characters overshadow any grievance I could come up with. Thanks to FantasyDeals @ HUKD!

Get Rocket League on PC for just £8.40

The festive voucher code not only brings down the price to the lowest we've seen, but it also works on all of the DLC packs - the Back To The Future car pack, Choas Run DLC, Supersonic Fury DLC, and Revenge of the Battle Cars DLC - meaning there's even savings for existing players. Let's not beat around the bush here - Rocket League is a superb eSports experience that is easy to learn, difficult to master, and a hell of a lot of fun to play. With Season 1 having just kicked off recently as well, now is the time to jump in and score some awesome goals. If you need more convincing, why not check out myself and GMG's Matt Gardner showing off our incredible (and no way flukey) skills? Thanks to Mark43 @ HUKD!

Fallout 4 on PS4 only £27.99 / Xbox One £29.99

I would have thought this deal would have sold out by now, but here it stands. Fallout 4 for £27.99 on PS4. The deal doesn't extend to the Xbox One version, but we've included a link to a still-tempting £29.99 deal.

Be sure to take a look at Carl's extensive Fallout 4 review while you're here. Here's the short version: While there may be bugs, and some mechanics not clearly explained, it’s hard not to be in awe of the extensive open world Bethesda have created with the Commonwealth. Streamlined progression, an improved narrative, and extensive customisation make Fallout 4 a serious contender to the RPG throne.

Destiny + all expansion DLC for just £21.46

Destiny + all expansion DLC for just £21.46

This new version of Destiny is packed with value as it includes the base game, the original Season Pass expansion content (House of Wolves and The Dark Below) as well as the new expansion The Taken King. Today's sale price is comfortably cheaper than the competition too. Rakuten has the PS4 version for just £21.46.

There are some radical changes to the way the XP system works in Destiny too when The Taken King arrives. Essentially, the annoying Light system that forced you to equip certain items if you wanted the level boost is being replaced with something similar to the way you levelled up on the way to Lv.20. These are exciting times and it looks like Bungie are making a solid effort at bringing lapsed players back and giving them all the content in this edition seems like a smart move as it's only about £10-£15 more than the base game now. If you want to know more about Destiny's changes and what they mean for players, check out Carl's Destiny: The Taken King review.

Titanfall: Deluxe Edition is a must buy at £6 on Xbox One

As a new Xbox One owner, I was all over Titanfall thanks to my 30 day EA Access pass and promptly went looking for a cheap deal. Sadly, even preowned copies on eBay were regularly going for over a tenner, new copies closer to £20. So this stellar Xbox Live deal for just £6 is pretty damn good. You'll need to sign-in on the website to see the price.

The Deluxe Edition bit of the title is a tad redundant as all the Season Pass content was made available to free to everyone anyway - not that we're complaining! Yes, people are still playing Titanfall and even jumping in as a newbie recently, I was able to have fun straight away. The game rewards everyone with a Titan multiple times per match, rather than only those capable of racking up an insane killstreak. The mix of AI and human enemies means even the most ham-fisted player can rack up some kills. Easily the best multiplayer game I've played in ages and a sequel can't come soon enough.

1 year of EA Access for £16.17 / .99

A year subscription to EA Access on Xbox One is an excellent gift for those of you still trying to do your Xmas shopping. The code will be emailed to you, so you don't have to risk waiting for postal delivery. You can always pop the code in a christmas card to hand over on the day. This offer saves a few quid over the regular £19.99/£29.99 annual fee.

I recently tried EA Access and found it to be tremendous value. Think of it as a Netflix for EA titles. While membership is active, you can download a generous selection of full EA titles to play at no additional charge. Current titles include Dragon Age: Inquisition, Titanfall, Battlefield: Hardline, FIFA 15, Madden NFL 15, Need for Speed: Rivals and many more. Membership also gets you discount on digital EA titles, although sometimes it's cheaper to look for a physical copy. If you pre-order some digital titles, you might gain access a week earlier than non-members too. There was a generous 10 hour trial of the full Star Wars: Battlefront game too a few weeks ago, although I'm not sure if that offer is still going.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition only £12.50 on XO

Diablo III has seen some fantastic discounts this month and today's deal is the best I've ever seen on Xbox One. Don't miss out on this excellent co-op action RPG.

I'm 70 hours in and yet to get bored with Diablo III on PS4. It's the co-op that's really pulled me in, I can't think of a game that I've played more in couch co-op since Street of Rage 2. With controls perfectly mapped to the controller, this was well worth the wait on consoles and is regularly patched with updates and tweaks that make it worth coming back to time and time again.

Mortal Kombat X down to £18.78 on PS4

Mortal Kombat X is one of the best entries in the series and this PS4 deal is the cheapest around by a few quid.

Take a look at my Mortal Kombat X review for a full report. I can tell you now that fighter fans should be all over this one. The combat is super smooth and incredibly meaty and the story mode is surprisingly strong, giving you a taste of multiple characters. There's tonnes to do after the story too, with challenge towers with crazy match modifiers and hundreds of items to unlock in the Krypt. I've also reviewed the Jason Voorhees DLC.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate only £21.97 on PS4/XO

After the Unity debacle, many of you are probably waiting for a cheap deal for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Well, £21.97 is one of the best prices we've seen. Act fast, as the 15% voucher code below has limited uses over at Rakuten today.

Reviews have generally been much more positive for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate than the largely derided Unity. Here's a taste of Carl's full review"While there are still blemishes that stop it matching the heights of Brotherhood or even Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate restores faith in the series by delivering a highly enjoyable open-world experience. Jacob & Evie make for entertaining characters in a beautifully crafted Victorian London filled with content that will keep you busy for weeks. So pick up your hidden blade - it's time to return to the creed."

Uncharted Collection is an Xmas smash for £21.24

This is the best price I've seen for a physical copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4.

Here's an excerpt from my review: An essential purchase for Uncharted newbies and the graphical upgrade makes it hard to resist for series fans too. Naughty Dog's trilogy shames the competition with exceptionally detailed levels, blockbuster action scenes and a lovable cast that will be sorely missed when the series wraps up with Uncharted 4 next year.

Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 highlight - get it for £18

Looking to save an extra few quid on Arkham Knight on PS4? Take advantage of this voucher code to get a PS4 copy for just £18.09.

Is it any good? Well, here's a short version of my review"Rocksteady and Batman is a combination we'll sorely miss. Their trilogy ends on a high though, with a refinement of their excellent Freeflow combat and Predator modes. The Batmobile is a somewhat mixed experience, but its heart is in the right place. Our much-awaited tour of the city of Gotham was a gorgeous sight to behold and an unforgettable goodbye." Zelda Tri Force Heroes is £17.99 on 3DS

The price of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has been dropping nicely in recent weeks and we're glad to see it back to it's lowest price of £17.99.

This multiplayer focussed title allows three players, each controlling a different coloured Link to work together in a new Zelda adventure. Via online or local networks, players will take on bosses, solve puzzles and stack on top of each other to reach higher areas or perform special attacks. It could be a little dumbed-down compared to usual Zelda titles, but the co-op gameplay could be a good match for the series.
