We've got three more dates for your diary. The 3rd Birthday, EDF: Insect Armageddon and Child of Eden have all received launch windows- and as always, we're on the case.
Square Enix have confirmed that Parasite Eve spinoff The 3rd Birthday will be hitting British shores on April 1st. This anticipated action game is destined to provide plenty of visceral thrills in the ruins of New York City... but we hope that this isn't an April Fools.
Second up is Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon, the sequel to Sandlot's uproariously fun budget shooter, is set for release on 5th July. You can watch the teaser in one of my previous news roundups, though be aware that it isn't suitable for arachnophobes! Vicious Cycle will be adding three-player cooperative shenanigans and a Gears-style horde mode into the mix, and we're hoping for another cut-price masterpiece. [EDF Facebook Page]
Finally, Ubisoft have confirmed Child Of Eden for a Q2 release, meaning that it should be out before the end of June. Reports suggest that it's practically finished, but Kinect functionality is proving to be difficult to implement.
You should be very, very excited about this one. After all, it's the spiritual successor to Rez. Why not check out our full preview... with 100% extra Space Whale?
