We've got two creepy and disturbing new dates for your diary courtesy of GDC announcements. American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns and Grasshopper Manufacture's Shadows Of The Damned will be launching this summer, and we have the gory details below.
American McGee, the improbably-named developer behind the original twisted masterpiece Alice, has confirmed that Madness Returns is set for release on June 14th. Apparently the game won't resort to overt gore and violence in order to cynically earn an M rated badge of honour, though the teaser trailers are pretty gory bloodthirsty. Hopefully the deliciously bizarre art design and tone will speak for itself without buckets of claret.
(Insane) Japanese auteur Suda 51 has also revealed the release date for Kinect-Enabled Shadows Of The Damned. We've already had a quick look at its dark, worrying stylings in the trailer last year, and apparently Shinji Mikami will continue serving as producer despite his defection to Bethesda. The motion controlled mayhem will be reaching our shores on June 7th.
