Ubisoft's long-in-development adventure title, I Am Alive, has bobbed in and out of media focus, often disappearing for months at a time only to re-surface and have its existence confirmed by Ubisoft. However, we've been expecting bad news for a while now; the headline could almost write itself, 'I Am Alive Pronounced Dead'. But according to a recent rating on the Australian Classification Board, I Am Alive might actually still be alive and, well, kicking.
Stamped with an MA 15+ due to 'Strong Violence', the rating for I Am Alive suggests Ubisoft's title is very close to being finished now, otherwise it wouldn't be suitable for classification. Ubisoft only last month confirmed the title was safe, but it's not unlike a publisher to continually assure fans development is ongoing only to pull the plug moments later.
It's been rumored that Ubisoft is mulling a digital release for I Am Alive, once planned as a big-budget retail release. We'll have more for you on this as it develops. [Australian Classification Board]
