Store-bought gaming merchandise is all well and good, but when you can't find the piece you want, you can always try making your own. Today brings us two utterly fantastic home-built pieces that we'd probably buy ourselves if they weren't one-off custom builds!
First up, an amazing table shaped like a Game Boy cartridge. Commissioned by a Dutch chiptune band and built by Tim Schuit, it's entirely made of wood with laser-cut lettering, and I think you'll agree that it's absolutely gorgeous.
You can see an actual Game Boy cartridge at the bottom left for scale.
Now things take a turn for the disgusting.
That's right: Zombiibos. Reddit user darkdreamr has radically altered a stock Princess Peach Amiibo into a horrifying zombie chowing down on poor old Toad (who in fairness looks pretty zen about the whole thing). We've seen plenty of modified Amiibo attempts over the last few months, but this is quite possibly the best yet most ghoulish attempt yet.
Want to chance your arm? You can get a selection of Amiibo from £8.99 at Gameseek (free delivery).
Let us know if you've ever made your own gaming custom build! I once retrofitted an arcade cabinet, though sadly it's currently in my garage and full of spiders.
