We know; why isn't it Arrested Development: The Movie? Look, we're all gamers here, no question. But when we hear news that Will Arnett and Jason Bateman have once again joined forces to spearhead a project, we're a little disappointed to report it relates to Call of Duty. Yes, the Arrested Development duo are back and working with Activision on unique content for upcoming social networking hub, Call of Duty Elite.
"I consider myself a gamer," explains Arnett to The Hollywood Reporter. "When you look at the time spent gaming, versus other entertainment outlets whether it’s watching TV or watching movies; for me, I probably spend more time gaming. I want my videogames to be entertaining. You realize that videogames are a real outlet that needs to be taken seriously."
Arnett and Bateman have been tapped by Activision to provide what they dub "original video programming" exclusive to Elite. Something akin to Rooster Teeth's Red Vs Blue might be on the cards, with Arnett unveiling a sneak peek of what he's working on at the upcoming Call of Duty XP event. [Hollywood Reporter]
