Ass Creed IV Dev Diary Looks At Historical Influences

Ubisoft have released a new developer diary for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, discussing the piratical nature of the game and the history that influenced it.

Additionally, if you really, really love the game, you'll be able to buy a Blackbeard figurine come October 2013, which yoou can make fight the Edward Kenway you've almost inevitably pre-ordered on Uplay.

For just thirty of your British pounds, you can get a figurine packing an "incredible level of detail", perfectly reproduced weapons and clothing, and... and... he stands in a "natural, dynamic pose".

If that isn't worth your money, well, perhaps the offcuts of DLC will help sway you. For each Blackbeard owner will also nab themselves the following:

  • Blackbeard's Sails
  • Black Bart's Sails
  • Hornigold's Sails
  • Shiver me timbers, hoist my freakin' mainsail, spank my arse and call me Mary. That is off the.. Sigh.

Still, it's nice to be able to buy probable  collector's edition trinkets separately I suppose.
