Back in March, an intriguing Xbox Live Marketplace listing suggested that Assassin's Creed III will feature online co-op, and Ubisoft has now confirmed the gametype to IGN. Called Wolf Pack, this mode allows two to four players to work together and take down a selection of NPC targets. Assassins will face 25 waves of increasing difficulty, with tight cooperation and stylish execution necessary to beat the clock and secure decent leaderboard positions. They've got a video on-site, so go take a look.
In other Assassin's Creed news, Ubisoft released some closed-door E3 demo footage showing off the city of Boston earlier today.
