Assassin's Creed Pack | £28.99 | Steam | PC

As bundles go, this one is a fairly big offering. With the exception of portable exclusive Bloodlines, all of the Assassin’s Creed titles are here for under £30 in Steam’s latest offering of the Ubisoft weekend sale. There’s a significant saving over the next best deals overall, which makes it a superb offer.

With the addition of several DLC packs along with the releases, this is an opportune time for PC gamers to either introduce themselves or relive the adventures of Altair and Ezio before the next part of the story releases later this year. Thanks to TehDomino @ HUKD!

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (Platinum) | £8.99 | Choices UK | PS3

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the best game of the series, hands-down. It's got nefarious villains, manages to build upon the winning formula laid out in its predecessors and, crucially, doesn't go overboard. Revelations' multiplayer may have refined the template laid out here, but this is the best package of the lot and, at £8.99, Choices UK have the cheapest online price by a quid. Nice one gooner.

We're eternally grateful that Ubisoft stuck to their guns and didn't cancel the series after the original Assassin's Creed launched to lukewarm acclaim. In fact, can you imagine any other publisher investing in such a bizarre and left-field idea? The series has improved in leaps and bounds- culmanating in one of the best games of 2010. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood delivers more of everything we could possibly want. More ways to kill people? Done. More missions? Yep. More... everything? Sorted.

Play and Amazon, as usual, are locked in a bitter battle for the bottom line.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is definitely the best game in the series and there's plenty of content packed onto the disc to keep you amused for a fair while as you relive another set of events from Ezio's life. Unfortunately, like all the previous instalments, it gets a bit repetitive after a while and you'll need to take a break from it when things start to seem ever so familiar. Game and Gamestation are parting with PC copies of the game for £6.99, which'll make you a saving of just over £5.50 on the next best offer coming in from Amazon.

You can finally pick Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood up for a tenner. There...that should be all of the incentive you need. You'll be saving yourself a couple of quid on the likes of The Hut and Bee and getting arguably the best instalment in the series to date. In spite of releasing a mere year after Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood not only built upon the excellent additions to the murderous parkour-em-up, but added in a unique take on multiplayer gaming. You can purchase this one with confidence, even if the story becomes incomprehensible gibberish towards the end once Desmond reappears. Thanks pjc83.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has to be the best of the series and it's great fun training up your own renaissance hit squad, who are more than willing to come to your aid when you find yourself in a tricky situation. Sadly it falls into the same trap as its predecessors and becomes a tad repetitive after a while, but then again it's repetitive in the best way possible. Play and Amazon are parting with Xbox 360 copies of the game for £12.99, which is almost £3 cheaper than the next best offer coming in from ShopTo.

There's no denying that Brotherhood's the best Assassin's Creed game of the bunch, but you still can't help but feel that you're doing the same thing over and over again after a while; run, jump, assassinate, explore, take a short side quest, and repeat! The multiplayer's also a little bit underwhelming. However, I do enjoy training up my very own bunch of assassins, who do my biding when they're needed. Play are parting with PS3 copies of the game for £12.99, which is almost £2 cheaper than the next best offers out there.

Jon posted a deal the standard edition of this title a few days ago (which is still in good standing!) but if the PC gamers amongst you all fancy getting hold of some extra goodies to go with your roof-jumping antics, this is by far the best price for the Deluxe Edition. GamersGate’s weekend deal means you’ll be saving a massive £20 over the next best offer coming from Direct2Drive. Along with the game you will get two extra missions and extra multiplayer characters when you take the slaughter online, as well as digital copies of Altair’s Codex, a map of Rome, the AC: Lineage movie, and the soundtrack of the game, amongst other items. It also helps that the game is excellent, and an improvement on the previous instalments.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is really good fun and seems to have a lot more variety than the previous games in the series at first, unfortunately it still suffers from their biggest pitfall of becoming far to repetitive after a few prolonged periods of play. I wasn't exactly bowled over by the multiplayer either, but then again at least it's a little bit different. You can grab a copy of the game on the PC from either Game or Gamestation for £12.99, which'll save you £6 on the next best offers.
