At their GamesCom 2011 press conference earlier today, Sony promised strong third-party support to bolster the Playstation Vita's upcoming roster. The likes of Ubisoft and EA were touted, with all new Assassin's Creed and FIFA titles announced for Sony's upcoming portable machine.
And they won't be simple ports. Sony promised that Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed title on Vita would be an all new experience in a brand new time-line, probably some sort of bridge between the numerical console versions.
Less was said on the new FIFA game, but that's not particularly surprising. It'll probably be a lite version of what we've all been playing on consoles for a while, with a portable spin and probably a lot of touch-screen and gyroscopic features.
