Ubisoft has revealed what their Sony-exclusive Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag bonuses entail - three new missions starring Assassin's Creed III: Liberation's Aveline.
Master of disguise Aveline de Grandpré, who fronted her own Vita tie-in last year, will return for an hour of new content. “It’s a ways forward so Aveline is a bit older," Lead writer Darby McDevitt explained on a new Ubisoft blog post. "It’s not directly related to the end of her story. If Assassin’s Creed IV is like a novel, Aveline’s missions are like a short story.”
“The present-day is set in Abstergo Entertainment – which is this fun, hip company to work for… at first," he continued. "You are able to access the Aveline stuff because your coworkers are working on retrieving different genetic memories from all kinds of different people. Of course, this being Abstergo, there’s something much darker at play."
Foreboding stuff. Assassin's Creed IV is out on November 1st for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. PC and next-gen versions will follow.
