Assassin's Creed Revelations Beta In SeptemberExclusive To PS3

Ubisoft is prepping an Assassin's Cred Revelations multiplayer beta to fill in the masses what to expect come November 15th when the third Ezio Auditore Di Firenze adventure hits store shelves. And it'll be arriving sooner than you think, swooping down on us on the 3rd of September. The catch? It's exclusive to PS3 owners, meaning Xbox 360 and PC players must wait until the official release to get their hands on the new and improved multiplayer offerings.

So what you can you expect from the AC Revelations beta, then? Well, nine characters to pick from; the Sentinel, the Vanguard, the Guardian, the Vizier, the Thespian, the Deacon, the Bombardier, the Trickster and the Champion. Each is packing their own unique aesthetic and arsenal, with specific finishing moves you'll remember from Brotherhood's ambitious - but unfinished - multiplayer.

You'll be clambering up and leaping off three maps, Knight's Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople, which promise to provide all manner of hidden routes and vantage points in which to plan - or escape - a kill. Wanted and Manhunt modes from Brotherhood return, along with the newfangled Deathmatch and Capture the Flag-esque Artifact Assault.

Exciting stuff, and you can count on us to bring you up to the minute coverage and impressions on the Assassin's Creed Revelations multiplayer beta when it arrives on the Playstation Network on September 3rd. [Eurogamer]
