Become A 'Mediterranean Traveler'
Having already released the 'Ancestor Character Pack' last month in December, Ubisoft has now turned their attention towards delivering a new multiplayer map pack for Ezio Auditore Di Firenze's last adventure, with the 'Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack' set for release on January 24th on Xbox LIVE, the Playstation Network and Windows PC. We've a bunch of screenshots to throw at your face.
Ubisoft have forgotten to title their snapshots of the Mediterranean Traveler's three locales, but I have a feeling this is the "colorful mercantile district of Dyers". At first glance, you'd be mistaken for thinking it a circus or medieval amusement park, replete with assassin-style mini-games like 'Pin The Throwing Blade On The Pope' and 'Stab That Face'. But, no; it's just a "mercantile district"... whatever that is.
Now, if this particular map digs up a distinctly nostalgic feel from the original Altair-starring Assassin's Creed game, then that might be because its a return to the "majestic holy city of Jerusalem". Yes, we're venturing back to The Holy Land, where ever pile of hay is a death-trap and a curtained box a paradox for pursuing guards.
Finally, I'm inclined to believe - having already picked two of the three map descriptions - that this is the "opulent imperial district of Constantinople". In the background, a group of would-be assassins saunter about nonchalantly, either unaware or uninterested in the hubbub going on in the foreground, as two assassins battle over who gets to hide in the bale of hay, while another suffers an unfortunate methane leak. Sorry, couldn't resist.
Look out for Assassin's Creed Revelations 'Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack' on January 24th, where it will cost 800 MS Points on Xbox LIVE, and £7.99 on the Playstation Network and PC.
