Assassin's Creed: Unity is totally revolutionary. Revolutionary France, that is, where new assassin Arno finds himself murdering aristocrats and templars with merry abandon. Ubisoft blew the lid off the project during their E3 presser, showcasing astonishingly pretty visuals, massive crowds, newly-enhanced fluid parkour and reiterating that four players can wreak havoc in co-op campaign missions.
Which sounds horrible for stealth, but ridiculous fun nevertheless.
Beyond the narrated gameplay footage, Ubisoft also revealed a 28th October worldwide launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. We'll miss the naval warfare, but hopefully Unity can expand on the scale of the assassinations themselves and give us more freedom to ply our deadly trade as we see fit.
