Titanfall: Deluxe Edition is a must buy at £6 on Xbox One

As a new Xbox One owner, I was all over Titanfall thanks to my 30 day EA Access pass and promptly went looking for a cheap deal. Sadly, even preowned copies on eBay were regularly going for over a tenner, new copies closer to £20. So this stellar Xbox Live deal for just £6 is pretty damn good. You'll need to sign-in on the website to see the price.

The Deluxe Edition bit of the title is a tad redundant as all the Season Pass content was made available to free to everyone anyway - not that we're complaining! Yes, people are still playing Titanfall and even jumping in as a newbie recently, I was able to have fun straight away. The game rewards everyone with a Titan multiple times per match, rather than only those capable of racking up an insane killstreak. The mix of AI and human enemies means even the most ham-fisted player can rack up some kills. Easily the best multiplayer game I've played in ages and a sequel can't come soon enough.

1 year of EA Access for £16.17 / .99

A year subscription to EA Access on Xbox One is an excellent gift for those of you still trying to do your Xmas shopping. The code will be emailed to you, so you don't have to risk waiting for postal delivery. You can always pop the code in a christmas card to hand over on the day. This offer saves a few quid over the regular £19.99/£29.99 annual fee.

I recently tried EA Access and found it to be tremendous value. Think of it as a Netflix for EA titles. While membership is active, you can download a generous selection of full EA titles to play at no additional charge. Current titles include Dragon Age: Inquisition, Titanfall, Battlefield: Hardline, FIFA 15, Madden NFL 15, Need for Speed: Rivals and many more. Membership also gets you discount on digital EA titles, although sometimes it's cheaper to look for a physical copy. If you pre-order some digital titles, you might gain access a week earlier than non-members too. There was a generous 10 hour trial of the full Star Wars: Battlefront game too a few weeks ago, although I'm not sure if that offer is still going.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition only £12.50 on XO

Diablo III has seen some fantastic discounts this month and today's deal is the best I've ever seen on Xbox One. Don't miss out on this excellent co-op action RPG.

I'm 70 hours in and yet to get bored with Diablo III on PS4. It's the co-op that's really pulled me in, I can't think of a game that I've played more in couch co-op since Street of Rage 2. With controls perfectly mapped to the controller, this was well worth the wait on consoles and is regularly patched with updates and tweaks that make it worth coming back to time and time again.

Mortal Kombat X down to £18.78 on PS4

Mortal Kombat X is one of the best entries in the series and this PS4 deal is the cheapest around by a few quid.

Take a look at my Mortal Kombat X review for a full report. I can tell you now that fighter fans should be all over this one. The combat is super smooth and incredibly meaty and the story mode is surprisingly strong, giving you a taste of multiple characters. There's tonnes to do after the story too, with challenge towers with crazy match modifiers and hundreds of items to unlock in the Krypt. I've also reviewed the Jason Voorhees DLC.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate only £21.97 on PS4/XO

After the Unity debacle, many of you are probably waiting for a cheap deal for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Well, £21.97 is one of the best prices we've seen. Act fast, as the 15% voucher code below has limited uses over at Rakuten today.

Reviews have generally been much more positive for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate than the largely derided Unity. Here's a taste of Carl's full review"While there are still blemishes that stop it matching the heights of Brotherhood or even Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate restores faith in the series by delivering a highly enjoyable open-world experience. Jacob & Evie make for entertaining characters in a beautifully crafted Victorian London filled with content that will keep you busy for weeks. So pick up your hidden blade - it's time to return to the creed."

Uncharted Collection is an Xmas smash for £21.24

This is the best price I've seen for a physical copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4.

Here's an excerpt from my review: An essential purchase for Uncharted newbies and the graphical upgrade makes it hard to resist for series fans too. Naughty Dog's trilogy shames the competition with exceptionally detailed levels, blockbuster action scenes and a lovable cast that will be sorely missed when the series wraps up with Uncharted 4 next year.

Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 highlight - get it for £18

Looking to save an extra few quid on Arkham Knight on PS4? Take advantage of this voucher code to get a PS4 copy for just £18.09.

Is it any good? Well, here's a short version of my review"Rocksteady and Batman is a combination we'll sorely miss. Their trilogy ends on a high though, with a refinement of their excellent Freeflow combat and Predator modes. The Batmobile is a somewhat mixed experience, but its heart is in the right place. Our much-awaited tour of the city of Gotham was a gorgeous sight to behold and an unforgettable goodbye." Zelda Tri Force Heroes is £17.99 on 3DS

The price of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has been dropping nicely in recent weeks and we're glad to see it back to it's lowest price of £17.99.

This multiplayer focussed title allows three players, each controlling a different coloured Link to work together in a new Zelda adventure. Via online or local networks, players will take on bosses, solve puzzles and stack on top of each other to reach higher areas or perform special attacks. It could be a little dumbed-down compared to usual Zelda titles, but the co-op gameplay could be a good match for the series.

While I'd certainly advise taking a look at my review before buying, this Mad Max Ps4 price is the best I've seen since the game's release. Act fast as this voucher code has limited uses today.

To be honest, I wasn't impressed with Mad Max, as you can see in my review. That said, some fans are really enjoying it so far, and at might be worth a look if you're looking for a new open world title with sand and waiting as main features.

Halo 5 only £24.99 on Xbox One

Halo 5 for under £25? I think we call that a biting point. With Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars: Battlefront breathing down Halo 5's neck, it makes sense that retailers start to chip away at the price for Master Chief's latest outing.

That's an absurdly cheap price so soon after launch. We'd understand more if there had been a glut of scathing reviews or serious issues with the multiplayer, but there haven't. Actually, let's not overthink it and just enjoy the discount.

Forza 6 down to £26.85 on Xbox One

With the latest Need for Speed being a murky mess, we'd recommend the much sunnier scenes of Forza 6. This deal is the best price we've ever seen too as it smashes the sub-£30 barrier at just £26.85. This comes with a DLC code for the Subaru WRXSTi.

Read my Forza Motorsport 6 review to see how impressed I was with with the game. Here's a taste: "Say hello to Forza 6, this generation's finest racer. Turn 10's racer certainly has the looks, but it's the raw speed and intuitive handling that make the occasionally over-long races thrilling from start to finish.

Until Dawn gets lowest price yet. Don't miss it

Tired of the relentless tide of crap masquerading as 'horror' films at the cinema. Your money would be much better spent on as copy of Until Dawn on PS4.

Not sure? Then check out my Until Dawn review. This interactive horror movie is heaps of fun and packed with moments that'll have you and anyone watching jumping out of their skin. Being able to kill off characters you don't like is more fun than you'll want to admit. You'll definitely want to play it more than once too to put the cast through hell again and again.

Halo 5 with long shot assault rifle DLC for £26.85

Wait, what? Under £30 already? There's a long-shot assault rifle for multiplayer bundled in too. With Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars: Battlefront breathing down Halo 5's neck, it makes sense that retailers start to chip away at the price for Master Chief's latest outing. That's great news if you've not bought the game yet, as this is easily the lowest price we've seen so far.

You can now get a new copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider for just £27.99. If you're Xmas shopping, this might be one of the better prices you'll get before the delivery cutoff.

Lara's latest adventure is another fantastic entry in the series. The world is bigger than the last game too and there are many more optional tombs to explore. The story is pretty poor, but there's no faulting the action as you're generally free to approach combat with all guns blazing, or opt for a stealthier approach.

This hard-hitting tactical Warhammer take on NFL is looking better than ever and it's great to see the series come to consoles for a change.
