In amongst the tedium of playing as
a plank of wood Connor in Assassin's Creed III, I often wondered why the hell Ubisoft didn't just make an awesome naval-based, Pirates!-esque game, set in the Caribbean, and featuring one of Connor's significantly more interesting older relatives.
Well, it looks like that might just be happening.
A promotional poster for the game, bearing the title Assassin's Creed IV: Blag Flag, found its way into the hands of Kotaku. The poster shows a hooded Assassin on the deck of a ship, fending off a bunch of bearded buccaneers as the Jolly Roger flies above.
Further inspection revealed a map on the other side of the poster of Cuba, Jamaican, the southern tip of Florida, and surrounding islands, peppered with Assassin logos that all have a skull in the middle.
There's an Assassin's Creed event happening this evening that's been shrouded in mystery for the past week or two, and this makes things a little clearer. We'll have the intrepid Mr. Lester there tonight to get the official lowdown.
