BAFTA 2013: The Winners

Journey Returns Triumphant

Those of you who weren't glued to the footy may well have watched the BAFTA Game Awards last night, where two PSN exclusives managed to clean up. Journey returned with no less than five awards, including game design, artisitic achievement and even online multiplayer (called it), while The Unfinished Swan managed to snag two shinies for innovation and best debut. Other worthy winners include Dishonored as Best Game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown for Best Strategy Game and The Room as best of British.

We've got all the winners and nominations after the jump, thanks in no small part to the inestimable Late who actually beat us to the punch this morning.

New star soccer!!

Didn't think that would get a nomination, nevermind win!

Great little game which made many bus journeys into work fly by.

I picked up Journey/Unfinished Swan in the double bundle offer a little while back but have yet to play either.....

A great selection of winners, actually games that deserved to win for a change.

When you see that BLOPS2 is in game innovation it makes you wonder whether its actually credible at times.

That said im surprised Dishonored won best game, it must have been very close. But thinking it over, it was an excellent game. It felt like FPS Assassins Creed, which i suppose isnt a bad thing! And had an excellent good story, but it was very, very short, which i felt let it down.

Good to see ME:3 despite the ending rage, the actual game was outstanding with so much going on, again story, choices and action.
And the Walking Dead proving that a story really does make a game sell, so simple, but so inviting!

Lend me them, Shained. And your ps3. ;)

Congrats to Journey and Unfinished Swan, and to Sony - having two exclusives sweep the board is quite the coup.

@Shained: I picked up NSS a week ago...can't put it down. Every spare moment I have when out and about I'm playing it. Fantastic little mobile game.
