Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Delayed

Beamdog has pushed back the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition from September 18th (next week) to November 30th due to an overwhelming amount of feedback from volunteer testers.

"After recently reviewing the game and then consulting with our partners, we've decided to ensure that Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is the best possible product on launch," explained Beamdog/Overhaul Games president Trent Oster on the forums. "Thus, we have pushed back the release date of the game."

"To all who have pre-ordered, we ask for your patience as we move toward our final release date -- and we will be working on something a little extra for you."

What this "little extra" something actually is remains to be seen - perhaps some early DLC? The Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition pre-order will currently run you £17.99 on Beamdog, while the iOS and Android versions cost $9.99. You can read more details here.
