Batman: Arkham Asylum & Arkham City will get the PS4/Xbox One remaster treatment | Report

According to a new report, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are being remastered for PS4 and Xbox One, where they'll release as a single compilation.

IGN Italy's exclusive report claims that both games will run at 1080p when they launch in time for Christmas, oddly half a year after the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. Warner Bros. Interactive must be hoping that Rocksteady's new title will draw in a new audience to the franchise.

On the one hand it's annoying to see another remaster, but on the other, at least we're getting both games in a single package. Value for money should be decent, unlike certain other lazy remasters we could mention...

Yet more remasters, but even though I have them all on PS3 and PC and have the 2 wii u games I will end up buying this just because of how much I love these games . Wonder why no origins ok it's not as good but why not just have all 3

Remasters are not all bad - these will look superb. I'd look forward to another play through of Mass Effect.

Space might not be enough room on one disc for all three games

The God of War remaster has a US RRP of $39.99, so hopefully UK retailers won't be charging much more than £30 come release. Though even for that price I'd have preferred the trilogy
