Batman: Arkham Asylum £29.93 @ The Hut [PS3 Game]

Imagine the scene; you’re Batman, the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight. You’ve recently apprehended cackling villain Joker, and are transporting him to Arkham Asylum, the resident nuthouse. Only once inside, the Joker escapes, revealing a plan he’s been brewing for months. He has control of Arkham, and only Batman can put an end to his nefarious deeds.

Sound tempting? If so, The Hut is offering the PS3 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum for only £29.93!

According to a price-comparison, The Hut’s offer for Batman: Arkham Asylum is the cheapest around! I’m surprised to see the game being offered for such a low price already, especially when you consider how well-received it was. Averaging a 91/100 on MetaCritic, Batman: Arkham Asylum has wowed critics with its blend of stealth and brawler gameplay, the forensics-based detective scenarios, and the lavish comic-book aesthetics.

So the Joker has taken control of Arkham, and is experimenting with a new formula that transforms it’s inmates into muscle-bound, slobbering brutes. He knew Batman would follow, but failed to anticipate that the Dark Knight would have built a Batcave inside a secluded cove on Arkham.

Armed with a variety of weapons and gadgets, from batarangs to explosive-gel, Batman tracks the Joker throughout Arkham, facing several notorious villains he himself incarcerated there, from Poison Ivy to Killer Croc. Batman might only be a man, but he's a cunning, well-trained detective and combatant, too, and it'll take more than an army of goons to stop him from defeating the Joker, once and for all.

just curious, is anyone at dealspwn.com writing these reviews/articles? or is it just cut & paste magic? are you offering us a review or opinion on games?

Its just when I see any article that has the word "MetaCritic" in it, I stop reading it as either the writer hasn't played the game or has serious short term memory loss.
I prefer to pick games based on friends referrals & by Proper game critics, or even Zero Punctuation

Metacritic is just about marketing & who spends the most on it (in MetaCritics view that is)

With regards to the deal, I'm gonna wait as I think Amazon might respond to The Huts price. Yay for competition!

Felix has played the game, as you can see by the full review he has linked to. It is common practice to show people a quantitative score as provided by metacritic, IGN, gamespot, whoever.

Sadly it's now gone back up to £34.93
