Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition | £3.74 | GamersGate | PC

You know that Batman: Arkham Asylum is great. But what you might not know is that its Game Of The Year edition is down to a very appetising £3.74 at GamersGate for the day. The GOTY version includes all of the challenge maps from the Insane Night DLC pack, and is cheaper than the standard edition elsewhere. Note that a gamepad is probably a must, because otherwise Arkham Asylum can be a severely hampered experience on PC.

It's easily playable with a keyboard and mouse, what a stupid thing to say. Are PC gamers really losing their roots?

It's a case of choosing the right peripheral for the job, not losing our roots. If you can play third person brawlers comfortably, for long periods, with a mouse and controller then you can take my comments with a pinch of salt. However, Arkham Asylum was designed with consoles and controllers in mind - and I daresay that many gamers will find it much more natural to use a gamepad.
