Batman: Arkham City | £16.29 | Impulse Driven | PC

Batman: Arkham City is one of the best games of the 2011, and succeeds at adding new, exciting and diverse elements to its already-exceptional predecessor. Fluid combat and addictive open-world exploration await those who take advantage of this deal, as well as a nifty £3 saving compared to Grainger Games (more compared to everyone else).

Note that Impulse are famed for whisking their deals away at bizarre and inexplicable times, so act fast if this grabs you.

Limited installs... Games For Windows Live... Missing saves... No thanks.

I will never support those practices. No game is worth that.

Still too many people on Steam forums demanding refunds.

Is this a Steam code version?

The missing saves is a non-issue if you know what you are doing (i.e. don't rename your GFWL account and therefore change your encryption key - which can be backed up and transeferd between PCs).

The tech issues are people trying to play it beyond what the devs are saying to do... i.e. don't try DX11 on 32bit systems yet and you will be fine.

The only real bad thing about this game is the limited installs - which I seem to recall the 1st Batman also having also.

This is a great game and well worth the money.

No deal.

It might be a "great game"... but limited installs are NOT worth the money. Installing SecuROM on my SSD = not worth the money. Installing GFWL on my SSD = not worth the money.

I played Arkham Asylum on Xbox 360, but Arkahm City looked far too crap on Xbox 360 when I played it at Eurogamer Expo.

I won't install this crap AT ALL. Not even if they paid me.

Maybe I'll join OnLive just to play Arkham City. Ha!

Up to you if you want to miss out on what many found to be a great game.

While I don't like the 5 install limit, I never play a game that many times. Only one game I have installed that many times and that was Crysis and I never even played it that much.

It's GFWL, though you'll also need to install the Impulse download client.

I know it's GFWL, but the Steam version that hooks in to GFWL is the one I was after.

What is this Impulse client like, I have never used it.
Would this be giftable.
