After missing its original September release date, the Batman: Arkham City GOTY edition has been rescheduled for November 9th on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Steam customers are laughing since the DLC-heavy edition released as planned on PC.
Rocksteady community manager Sarah Wellock provided more clarity on the forums. “Apologies for the confusion and the delay, we understand it is disappointing,” she wrote. "Each of the territories determined the best time to release Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition and for the UK, November is best."
“[Rocksteady] weren’t part of the internal discussions held by the UK sales/marketing team but have full faith in their decision. A lot of the time we have to consider our relationships with retailers and what works well for them, it’s not just about release schedules.”
The Wii U will also receive its own dose of Arkham City action in the shape of the Armored Edition, which also contains all of the DLC including Harley Quinn's Revenge.
