Batman: Arkham Origins will test its most seasoned players to the limit with a brand new difficulty setting that offers no saving and permadeath.
Eurogamer predictably got the scoop at their Expo, talking to producer Guillaume Voghel. "The main narrative arc and side missions last about 12 hours, and then you have all the collectibles," he said. "To get 100 per cent of that will take much, much longer. We have a new difficulty level, New Game Plus is coming back - that's really difficult - and when you're done with that there's I Am The Night mode - which is no saves and one life."
Yikes. In other Arkham Origins news, Kotaku reports that the Wii U version will cost $10 less than the other additions at RRP, presumably to compensate for the lack of multiplayer.
