Battlefield 3 | £15.99 | Game | 360

Some games just never have the decency to tumble in price, so this may be a good time to finally give Battlefield 3 a chance. The single-player side isn't much to shout about, but the multiplayer is amongst the highest rated FPS combat seen on this generation of consoles. We'd recommend this version if you know you probably won't be too bothered about the multiplayer DLC expansion packs. If you are though, you may prefer the Premium Edition of the game which gives you access to all of them. Game currently have that one on offer for £32.99.

Great price for this. I'd agree that if you know you won't be bothered by the multiplayer dlc then this would be more than worth picking up but if you care even a little then I'd go straight for that Premium Edition at £32.99 for all the content. DLC includes weapons (not sure about equipment) and some of them are pretty damn good. You don't need the weapons from the dlc but some of them just feel really nice to use.

I have the PC version without the dlc (EA kind of screwed those of us who bought the normal edition and didn't pick up Premium with the upgrade price compared to the premium edition price) and I've picked up a weapon or two from killed enemies that you get from the dlc. I fell in love with the Aug A3 as it fits my play style perfectly.

Just something worth thinking about. Either way you can't really go wrong as BF3 is a great game....for the multiplayer. I'd recommend staying away from the single player unless you have to get those achievements. It's so boring it's depressing.
