Battlefield 3 Beta On September 29th

Medal of Honor Pre-Orders Rewarded With Early Access

Battlefield 3's much-anticipated beta finally has a date; September the 29th. So, in just over a week, players across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC can download the beta, fire up the game and give it a good old go. You'll even be given a chance to try out Battlelog, BF3's Call of Duty Elite ripoff community hub where stats and the like can be shared and compared. Players who pre-ordered the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will be rewarded with early access to the beta, starting on the 27th instead.

The beta has only one map, Operation Metro, which is set in the bullet-strewn remains of a bombed out Paris. To go with the one map is one game mode, Rush, where one side takes turns defending an M-COM station whereas the other attempts to destroy it. We'll be first in line to get our hands-on the beta, and will bring you our impressions ASAP.

Call of Duty Elite ripoff? do you mean the "have to pay for ripoff of halo waypoint-call of duty elite"?

also, battlelog is free.

please write in a non-bias form next time if you want to keep your target audience coming back for more. or even if you dont want to do that and alienate yourselves, maybe look into what you saying next time?

Totally agree with the above.

Try to not be such a COD fanboy in the future. It will make reading your articles much less of a chore.

not even sure if it was fanboy-ish, it was just wrong... and im sure previous battlefields have had some form of stats system online?

Glad you have reported this but have to say the bias is not upto much here. The fact Ea decided to make there own version of these websites does not have anything to do with Cod. http://bf2s.com/ http://bfbcs.com/ . Last time I checked these and many other popular battlefield stat websites were about long before Cods elite payment service.
