Battlefield 4: 14GB Install 'Recommended' On Xbox 360

Battlefield 4 is going to require Xbox 360 players to install 2GB of data, but EA strongly recommends installing seven times that amount for the "best possible experience."

A new support FAQ [via CVG] outs the weighty install and explains the situation. "The first time you start your game, regardless of which disc you use, you will be asked to perform a required installation of 2 GB worth of game content to your hard drive," it reads.

"In addition to the required installation, each disc has additional content you can install to your hard drive for better performance."

The multiplayer disc contains 6.6GB of additional content, while the singleplayer disc includes 5.8 GB. "We highly recommend performing these additional installations to make sure you have the best experience possible in Battlefield 4," urges EA.

For many Xbox 360 owners, this won't be an issue, rather a useful pointer before getting involved on November 1st. However, those of you with arcade consoles or smaller hard drives may need to bear this in mind.

I strongly recommend installing it on a system that is capable of running it as it was intended to be run. Preferably a PC, or a PS4bone if that isn't available.

14gb install for the beauty that is 720p gaming. Oh I can't wait.
