Many PS3 owners seem to be up in arms about the fact that they can't spend their money on the deeply average Dawnguard and Hearthfire Skyrim expansions, but a new tweet from Bethesda suggests that there's light at the end of the tunnel.
"To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC", reads the missive on the official Bethesda account, though it's not exactly clear what the "new" content will involve. We assume that this means Dawnguard and Hearthfire for PS3, but since they're already available on PC, perhaps they're referring to the recently-announced Dragonborn expansion or something else entirely. Either way, we'll keep you posted.
Bethesda were unwilling to release Dawnguard on PS3 due to performance concerns, something that has dogged the PS3 version since its slightly shaky launch.
