SEGA's robot-blasting third-person shooter, Binary Domain, is coming to PC this April. The sci-fi action romp will get both boxed and digital releases next month, although no exact date has been given at this point in time.
SEGA have said that fan feedback, as well as the hype generated by the console release, led to the decision to bring the title to PC as well.
“As well as the excitement generated by Binary Domain in the console press we were seeing increasing numbers of players asking for a PC version. So we listened and we delivered.” said Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA.
Here's what we said in our review of Binary Domain:
Like the best mad scientists, Binary Domain is incredibly entertaining, stuffed with smart ideas, and occasionally gets things wrong. But the very fact that it tries to innovate in such a relatively lazy genre is worthy of applause. With some incredible boss battles, slick gunplay, and a cracking story, Binary Domain throws off the clone tag and becomes something far better: a fine example of how two styles of development can complement one another.
