More Bioshock goodness for you, this time directed at PS3 owners. Fancy stepping back into the watery halls of Rapture again? Well there's never been a better time to do so thanks to ShopTo's consistent price cuts. The internet merchant are now listing 2K's gloriously macabre sequel for just £22.85, saving a couple of quid on the nearest competitors over at the 101cd network.
Ten years on from the events of the original and Rapture has changed. It's just as dangerous, diseased and decrepit as ever, but there';s a new cat in town - one Sophia Lamb - and she has a terrifying new force of creatures to help her keep order in the spindly Big Sisters.
You step into the shoes of a prototype Big Daddy, awakening after a decade of slumber to toddle off and find your lost Little Sister companion. Invariably you become embroiled in the politics of Rapture and the story takes a few twists and turns with shocks aplenty. It's not quite as gripping or as clever as it's predecessor, that was always going to be a tall order, but it gets the FPS action spot on and comes with a multiplayer experience that makes a serious attempt at rivalling Modern Warfare 2's recent stranglehold on the genre.
It's much better than it could have been, though, and negated my scepticism about the necessity for its existence by being a lot of fun. If you fancy checking out a full appraisal of the game, hit the link to have a read of my review.
