If anybody saw the Bioshock 2 deal that I posted on Friday, you'll know that The Game Group lowered their price for the game down to the remarkably low price of £7.99. Well, Amazon have followed suit close on the heels of their competitors and matched this price, so whilst you won't save any money over The Game Groups deal, it offers you another choice of vendor for a great game with a superb price tag.
Once again you return to Rapture in this instalment of the series, but this time around you take control of one of the prototype Big Daddy's, named Subject Delta, who on awakening immediately starts searching for his little sister. Delta can dual wield plasmids, which makes for much more enjoyable gameplay, and you'll also be able to use some of the Big Daddy's signature weapons, such as the drill and the rivot gun.
Multiplayer is a new feature this time around, and takes place during Rapture's explosive civil war, so you can expect some adrenaline fuelled battles between splicers, whilst desperately searching for Little Sisters to extract Adam from.
For a game that was released in February, it's pretty amazing that you can already get hold of a copy for less than £10, and whilst the story isn't necessarily as good as the original and things in Rapture haven't really changed that much, the gameplay more than makes up for this by providing you with some heart pounding battles against the underwater city's twisted inhabitants.
