Bioware Included In MS E3 Conference

We're just hours from Microsoft's E3 conference, where they'll brief the media with their plans for the upcoming months and years. I hope they don't waste the first ten minutes boasting as they often do; but who cares. We'll be live-blogging the event, so stay tuned. In the meantime, Bioware have confirmed they'll be popping up at Microsoft's conference.

Microsoft might have lost Mass Effect exclusivity, but I have a distinct feeling they'll reveal plans to lure fans to their shores when the game hits store shelves next year. While the obvious answer for Bioware's presence would be an on-stage ME3 demo, I expect they'll also announce exclusive content for the Xbox 360 version, ala Grand Theft Auto 4's premium post-release content they secured for a year or so.

Or maybe it's the rumored Kinect support Mass Effect 3 is set to boast? Leaked box art bore the slogan, 'Better With Kinect', prompting rumors that the climactic conclusion to the trilogy would feature much arm-waving and hip-gyrating. It'll all become clear at Microsoft's conference, set for 5PM.

In related news, Amazon appears to have outed the inevitable Collectors Edition for ME3. Boasting a slick metal case sporting commemorative Commander Shepard artwork, a 70-page art book featuring an exclusive 4×6 lithographic print featuring a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork, a limited edition comic from Dark Horse, an N7 fabric patch and - phew - a collection of in-game content exclusive to Amazon. Sounds pretty legit.

I predict that Mass Effect 2 will become a 360 exclusive. Yes, they'll immediately stop selling it on PC and PS3, and remotely burn all discs out there with actual fire.
