For those of you out there who have spent hours patiently gluing Airfix models of WWII era planes together, you can now trade them in for this game, which gives you the opportunity to sit in the driving seat of your favourite flying machines.
You can grab a copy of the game on the Xbox for £8.99 from 365 Games, which is just over £3.50 cheaper than the next best price of £12.77 coming in from Coolshop UK.

The game takes place in an alternate reality WWII, where unfortunately some of the Nazi's crazier gadgets for winning the war have been constructed and they've wasted no time deploying them against the Allies. As Captain Robinson, players will take command of a squadron of fighters that are tasked with a variety of missions, which will hopefully aid the war effort and boost moral.
Dogfights and flying in general is great fun, and the experience is definitely enhanced by the wonderful look of the planes and environments. If you're bored with the way that your plane looks, then you can always alter the way its appearance, as well as the technology that's onboard, although you'll first have to earn some Prestige points to spend on upgrades.
If you get bored of the generic radio chatter from your AI team mates, then you can quickly hop onto Xbox live and play through the campaign with some friends. Also, there are a range of versus modes that'll have you battling real people rather than taking on AI controlled enemies, which can feel like cannon fodder at times.
Soaring through the skies, spitting bullets at rival pilots, whilst barrel rolling to safety in Spitfires, plus a number of other famous WWII plane models, is a fantastic experience and'll be money well-spent now the game's under the £10 mark.
