Brink is shaping up to be absolutely outstanding, and it was an absolute blast to play even back in the swirling mists of last summer. The shooting is tight, the weapon modification is ace and each class feels different and unique - whilst all being useful in a combat situation. The release date is now just around the corner, and The Hut have the best price around thanks to their BHB3 voucher code. I don't know how long it will last, mind.

At least it's not from one of their hilariously fake eBay outlets.

:) Indeed.

I may have to buy the '360 version of "Brink" if PlayStation Network is still under maintenance in a few weeks time.

Still, an opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, & shoot them.

Which console will you be playing on, Jonathan?

That's a very good question, FP. I tend to play FPS titles on the 360 simply because I prefer the controller, but I may end up getting it on PC because the online communities tend to last longer.

Either way, I'm buying it. Making new friends and shooting them sounds good to me.

Edit: Plus, I got a massive kick out of it last year.

Since I saw the initial video footage I was hooked, but I was also fortunate enough to be invited to play for a few weeks already.

GAME may be getting my business because of their pre-order "Special Edition" (DOOM & Spec Op packs), but Zavvi's Brink Bundle (including the Turtle Beach P11 headset) is a good deal.

From past experience with pre-orders at The Hut Group (Zavvi.com included) I have been sadly disappointed expecting a delivery in time for the official release day though.

Zavvi took just short of three months to delivery something as "in stock" to me that I ordered a month before Christmas (as a gift).
