Broken Sword V Kickstarter Closes On 0,000+

No Beneath A Steel Sky Sequel, I'm Afraid

Revolution Software's Kickstarter campaign for Broken Sword V: The Serpent's Curse has closed on $771,561, securing more than double the original funding target thanks to the extra PayPal pledges [thanks, Shadowmancer88]. Their stretch goals will allow Charles Cecil to create the adventure as a director's cut with new "exotic locations," but sadly, the beautiful dream of a Beneath A Steel Sky sequel/crossover will have to be shelved.

Now, as is always the case with Kickstarters, we wait.

UPDATE: Stretch goals schmetch goals. Revolution are going to deliver a Beneath A Steel Sky sequel anyway. More details here.
