Many gamers treated Bulletstorm like a forgettable wrapper for the Gears 3 beta, discarding it after its delicious bonus feature expired. Which is a bit of a shame, because People Can Fly almost made a great game. Brutal action and a great sense of fun are sadly brought low by the very same cliches and overbearing storylines that Epic promised to shatter, but for £5.99, it's got to be worth a go.
