which is better?
I can't say for certain...still haven't gotten around to checking out Hot Pursuit in full yet, but I adored Burnout Paradise, particularly when you bought the Big Surf Island DLC as well...excellent game, lots of content.
The greater integration of Autolog into Hot Pursuit, though, might be the dealbreaker.
Both completely different games. Burnout = free roam, NFS = menu based (much like the older burnout games).
Both are brilliant games and worth owning though. Much like Battlefield and CoD, they are too different to compare.
Burnout Paradise,by far!!!
paradise was rubbish a step too far with the free roam. Hot Pursuit is back on form. Burnout Crash looks great
Hot Pursuit, by miles.
Lengthy and engaging single-player, excellent online gameplay, superb graphics and audio, great sense of speed, . . .
As someone who loves driving games and has played the hell out of Forza 3, GRID, PGR 4 and others (including every Burnout game since Burnout 2), I can honestly say that I've had more fun and exhilaration playing this game than any other.
If cops versus racers appeals to you, this is by far the best game of its type.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit:
I have played all Burnout games and all NFS games and I would say , get Burnout!
