Call Of Duty Elite Beta Ends Tonight

You've All Helped Make It A Better Service, Apparently

The Call of Duty Elite beta has been in full swing for a good while now, as Activision stress their servers and ensure the service headed up by Beachhead Studios is in fighting fit shape for the November launch to coincide with Modern Warfare 3's release. However, that beta is set to be whisked away tonight, as October nears its close and November the 8th looms large.

"Beachhead Studio would like to thank everyone for their feedback and participation in the beta, as it's helping to make Call of Duty Elite an even better service," Activision told fans today. Progress in the beta will be carried over to the full service come November, and while the Connect, Compete and Improve sections will close tonight, the Career option will soon open to all Black Ops players. Never even used it, I kinda hate black ops. Are you doing/have you done a review for it?

I, too, never signed up. I'm repulsed by the whole subscription model, so have no inclination to "try before you buy".
