Call Of Duty Elite Beta Now Live, Deploying Invites

Annihilation Map Pack Dated For PS3 & PC

Attention, Call Of Duty addicts. If you've registered for the Call Of Duty: Elite beta, the first wave of invites have now been sent out and the service is now up and running on Xbox Live. According to Community guru Dan Amrich, this is just the first step towards including all two million volunteers. You can still sign up over at the official site, but you'll likely have to wait a while. Note that only the Xbox 360 version is accepting invites - and PC players aren't allowed in as yet.

If you still don't quite understand what Elite actually is, we've included a handy PSA after the break.

In other news, Activision has announced that the Annihilation DLC Map Pack will be rolling out on July 28th for PS3 and PC. Not long now, folks.
