Call Of Duty: Elite Has Birthing Issues, Beachhead Working 'Around The Clock' To Fix

A few players may well have found that upon firing up Modern Warfare 3 today and eagerly getting involved that there was a small hitch. Reports have been flying in of registration and password issues to do with Call of Duty: Elite, although Activision community guru Dan Amrich has assured fans that Beachhead are busting a gut to sort things out.

The following tweets were retrieved from the Elite Twitter feed, suggesting that Beachhead know about the issues and what is causing them (massive popularity and demand...which arguably could have been foreseen) and are hard at work fixing them.

All. We are aware of the issue. Surge of new Elite registrations is creating reg & login issues. Teams are working now to increase capacity. [link]

Please note the “password” error on login is being caused by this registration load issue. You do not need to change your password. [link]

Service is capturing all MW3 gameplay data. Data, heatmaps, and activity will be waiting for you upon registration. [link]

Beachhead & operations teams working around clock to increase Elite reg capacity asap. Pls check callofduty.com/elite/status for updates from devs [link]

So everything is working, apparently, you just might have a little trouble actually signing in to get to all of the goodies. Jon's beavering away on a review as we speak. [OneOfSwords]
