While Xbox 360 fans have been enjoying its zero-gravity delights for a while now, PC and PS3 fans can look forward to paying Activision an extortionate price for Black Ops' zombified DLC pack, Rezurrection. It's set to hit the PC and Playstation 3 platforms on September the 22nd, where it will retail for the price of $14.99 in the US and a similar price bracket over here. Activision will also be hosting a Double XP Weekend from the 23rd to the 25th of September.
Continuing Treyarch's fine form with Black Ops DLC, Rezurrection relocates from the Cold War to a... well, much colder war. Zombies in space, to be precise. Yes, a hitherto unknown moon-base has been overrun by its undead occupants, and you must fight for freedom on the all new 'Moon' level in the Nazi Zombies Mode. Or Space Zombies Mode... I don't know! It also features 4 remastered classic zombie levels, an enhanced soundtrack and 'Moon' theme. [Joystiq]
Remember the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops DLC we outed last week? You do? Why, thank you. Well, the Rezurrection Map Pack is positively dripping with information now, relocating the much-loved Nazi Zombies Mode to our very own celestial satellite, the Moon. Yes, that's right, you'll be battling space-Nazi zombies very soon, hopefully in zero-g. It also features an updated version of the original World at War map, to boot.Click here for more
Activision isn't quite finished milking a few more million from the Call of Duty faithful. One last wring of the profit-laced flannel is coming, it seems, with another DLC map pack well on its way. A strong Q2 for Activision - no doubt helped by Black Ops' continued success - prompted an earnings report where CEO Bobby Kotick broke the news.Click here for more
Attention, Call Of Duty addicts. If you've registered for the Call Of Duty: Elite beta, the first wave of invites have now been sent out and the service is now up and running on Xbox Live. According to Community guru Dan Amrich, this is just the first step towards including all two million volunteers. You can still sign up over at the official site, but you'll likely have to wait a while. Note that only the Xbox 360 version is accepting invites - and PC players aren't allowed in as yet.
If you still don't quite understand what Elite actually is, we've included a handy PSA after the break.
In other news, Activision has announced that the Annihilation DLC Map Pack will be rolling out on July 28th for PS3 and PC. Not long now, folks.Click here to read more...

As if it wouldn't be real! We've been covering the leaked Black Ops third map pack all week, but now Activision have officially made it official! Like previous map pack announcements, it's accompanied by a vidoc from Treyarch detailing the Annihilation Map Pack, which features four new multiplayer maps, and another meaty Nazi Zombies offering.Click here for the trailer
We reported yesterday on a third map pack for Call of Duty Black Ops being in the pipeline, sporting four new multiplayer arenas and a third Nazi Zombies offering. Well, now we have an official name plus a release date! The Annihilation Map Pack is due June 28th on the Xbox 360, and will cost 1200 MS Points.
It appears to be exclusive to Microsoft's platform for now - don't fret, PS3 owners, it'll only be a month or so before you can get your hands on it. The multiplayer maps include Silo, Hazard, Drive-In and Hangar 18. The Nazi Zombies map remains unnamed with only a blurry picture to go off. We'll have more for you on the Annihilation Map Pack when it develops. [VG247]
The brilliant Escalation map pack is only a month old, featuring a handful of all new multiplayer arenas and a cracking Nazi Zombies offering featuring horror icons such as Buffy and Robert Englund. But far be it for Activision to relent their dogged milking of Black Ops until Modern Warfare 3 is well and truly upon us, as the third map pack has already been outed!Click here for more
Modern Warfare 3 is leaking media at such a rate I have to admit I'm almost worried. It doesn't bode well for the already troubled development that they can't even keep the story under wraps. And now Kotaku - the original progenitors of the leak - have yet more to show us, with key character concept art, multiplayer model and gun renders, and even the first in-game screengrab. But is this legit? Or do we smell a carefully fabricated hoax?Click here to read more...
