Monster Hunter 4 is currently dominating the Japanese software charts, but Capcom still haven't locked down whether or not they plan to bring it to the US and Europe. However, they are at least thinking about it.
“Hey hunters!," reads an annoyingly perky post on the Monster Hunter Facebook page. "We’ve seen many of you ask for us to #BRINGMH4TOTHEWEST. We’re excited to see the fan base growing and you all showing your passion, keep it coming! We are continuing to evaluate new Monster Hunter titles for the west, and will share any new information with you here on Facebook as soon as we have it.”
It's a straw, perhaps a short one, but we're willing to grasp at it for the time being. That said, we're already snowed under with massive 3DS time sinks (not to mention the upcoming release of Pokemon X & Y), so there's arguably no hurry. The critical and sales success of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate suggests that there's an expanded audience for the typically niche series on Western shores, so it's likely that Capcom will think carefully about exactly how to release and market Monster Hunter 4.
