CD Projekt have announced that the upcoming v1.1 patch for The Witcher 2 is to be delayed. The patch was due to fix several bugs including random crashes, mouse inversion, DLC downloads and also improve the framerate between 5-30%, depending on the users' PC rig.
'The good news is that the patch is ready,' a post on the official website read today. 'The bad news is that we have encountered some problems with the server infrastructure, making downloading DLC impossible. We want to apologise to our fans for not meeting our target of delivering the patch last night.'
Dave gave The Witcher 2 a big fat 9 earlier this week, saying it was one of the finest RPGs ever made.
CD Projekt have teased the possiblity that the game will come to consoles, with an official announcement expected next month at E3.
