CD Projekt, more so than most industry entities out there, know how to treat their fans. On top of the 48-hour free Fallout giveaway, the company also unveiled a host of Witcher 2-related goodness in the livestream of their spring showcase last night. There's particularly good news for PC owners, who'll have their copy of The Witcher 2 upgraded to the Enhanced Edition on April 17th, to coincide witht he game's release on Xbox 360.
The download is pretty big - weighing in at 10GB - but PC owners will be able to download 95% of it starting April 11th. Not only that, but if you've purchased a copy of The Witcher 2, you'll be able to download a digital copy on GOG.com for free, so you have a 100% DRM-free backup copy, just in case.
CD Projekt have also decided that they need 1,000 additional people from around the world to help review the game, and are therefore giving away 1,000 copies of the game. All you need to do to be in with a shot is to head on over the their website, fill out a little form, and explain why you should be reviewing the game. Closing date for that is Monday 9th.
But wait, there's more. The first game has arrived on Mac, exclusively via Steam, and an interactive digital Witcher comic will be coming to iOS on April 17th, which will feature combat slashing inputs, and allow Geralt to relieve a maiden of her clothing with a stroke of the touchscreen.
