Command & Conquer: The First Decade £6.98 @ Game [PC Games]If you’re snowed in, unemployed, or just have loads of time to kill, why not do something constructive like picking yourself up a copy of this Commander and Conquer: First Decade Multipack? For just £6.98 you can get your hands on every Command and Conquer title released within the first decade of the franchise. It’s true that some of these titles - particularly the older ones - look pretty dated now, but with some twelve games in total you’re looking at just 60p per title which is a great bargain.

Beginning with the original Command and Conquer which hit the shelves back in 1995, First Decades will then take you - no doubt with nostalgic butterflies - into CC Covert Operations. Then onto Red Alert, the prequel to Command and Conquer, which sees the Soviets taking on the allies across Europe in everyone’s favourite hypothetical conflict. Red Alert: Counter Strike and Aftermath are then followed by the futuristic conflicts of the Tiberian Sun Series. Along with the original, you also get Tiberian Sun Firestorm and then – possibly one of the best every C+C titles – Red Alert 2.

Yuri’s Revenge and Renegade are then followed by the General series which consists of both Generals and Generals Zero Hour. All in all you’re getting some of the most seminal RTS titles every to grace the PC, and a shed load of great games which every strategy game fan should have in their collection.

They may have been seminal at the time, but they're pretty awful today (the first two at least).

Yes, that's C&C3 - one of the games not included in the First Decade, should be changed for something else as it's misleading.

The very first games definitely don't hold up well and Tiberian Sun was always pretty poor however I still think Yuri's Revenge is enjoyable and Zero Hour is one of the best C&C games for me.
