Victory Games have released a new video explaining the factions in the new Command & Conquer title, and where the game picks up for the previous Generals games.
"This game picks up ten years after the last Generals," explained Victory Games in a post on the EA blog, "so it's still got the same Terrorist Faction - The Global Liberation Army, the European Union is taking over from where the US Faction was in the last Generals and then the Asia Pacific Alliance is a broader version of the China Faction. In the future we're going to go back to the Tiberium Universe and the Red Alert Universe."
Apparently around a third of the vehicles from the previous game have made the jump to this one, including Overlord Tanks, but there'll be a plethora of new units to play.
Frostbite 3 will be adding real-time world destruction to the series for the first time, replacing the canned animations from previous instalments. The game will offer PvP and AI skirmishes at launch, with Campaign mode coming in 2014.
