Confused about the Final Fantasy X/X2 Remaster PS4 steelbook offer? Here's Square's final word

There's currently some confusion over how you can get your hands on the Final Fantasy X/X2 Remaster PS4 steelbook, which has been variously reported as being a universal pre-order bonus, limited edition and even a retailer exclusive depending on who you talk to.

We reached out to Square Enix Europe for clarification and, good as gold, they've cleared things up.

"It’s all pre-orders while stocks last," a Square Enix representative told us. "This is across all retailers (in UK at least)."

There you go then. Some retailers may be playing fast and loose with the term "limited edition," but are technically correct seeing as the stock of steelbooks are limited.

Only bought this last year on Vita... why would I want it on PS4? Square Enix confuse me these days.

Where's FF7? :)

You'd certainly think so looking at the new PS4 version :)

I kid though, honestly never played FF7. My first was number 9.
