'Crimson' Trademarked By Bungie Aerospace

We're all a little baffled by Bungie Aerospace, the seemingly ancillary production arm of the former Halo stable. Quite what they're working on - or for - is unclear, although its obviously something. And that something might have a name; 'Crimson'. Spotted on the United States Patent and Trademark Office - or USPTO for short - the 'Crimson' trademark was purchased by Bungie Aerospace on the 9th of May, this year.

Quite what 'Crimson' is remains shrouded in secrecy, with Bungie Aerospace not even officially announced yet in any public capacity. They exist, and they're obviously gearing up for production on something, possibly this 'Crimson' title. When I saw the name, I immediately jumped to the preposterous conclusion that they were working on a Crimson Skies prequel. Before the sky got involved, naturally. What do you lot think? [Eurogamer]

Not totally out of the question, I suppose. Maybe they have an arrangement with Microsoft as part of their independence deal that they got the chance to use a few old MS properties?

More likely it'll be a completely different game with an enigmatic title, of course.
