No Swimming, Sequel Planned
It's a shame that a AAA game having a campaign longer than 6-8 hours is newsworthy, but that's the state of play these days...
Crystal Dynamics’ global brand director Karl Stewart recently took to Twitter to answer some fan questions. When asked how long the campaign would be, he replied "12 to 15 + depending on your play style," suggesting that the explorable hub zones should provide a meaty amount of content.
Steward also shared some interesting tidbits, such as the fact that Tomb Raider won't feature any swimming levels. "Lara can swim, but just not in this game," he explained... alluding to the fact that Crystal Dynamics plans to develop a sequel if it sells well.
Lara will also have regenerating health, if that interests you.
Tomb Raider is set for a March 5th, 2013 launch on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Click here to read our interview with artist Brian Horton.
