Crystal Dynamics Working On New IP

Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics are gearing up for a big year, having just announced that they are working on a new IP alongside their gritty reboot of the Tomb Raider series.

The studio revealed the news on the Square Enix blog in a post from SEcommunity manager Meagan Marie as she said that "not only will our team be eating, sleeping, and breathing Tomb Raider, but we’ll also be hard at work preparing to reveal exciting new intellectual property to the world."

“2012 is going to be the biggest year in Crystal’s history," added Crystal Dynamics Studio Head Darrell Gallagher. "We have a ton of great content lined up from our teams and we can’t wait to pull the wrapper off some of the amazing things we have been putting all of our efforts into.”

Tomb Raider is out later this year.

Awesome, have loved every tomb raider game so looking forward to that anyways - but then a new IP too?! Awesome.

The have done the big-breasted hero woman, other people have done the hero male (Drake) and hero gods (God of War) so that should leave them doing something superhuman or an animal. :)
